工作太忙、時間太少、生活太累……日復一日,年復一年,我們徘徊於繁瑣事間,漸漸開始忽略自己的健康。不過,蔡宛珊(Sarika)卻身體力行告訴我們健康的可貴之處。自《Miss S教室》開拍以來,Sarika作為英文老師的形象深入民心,而最近她更推出了全新系列的課程──烹飪課及體育課。每天奔波勞碌的你我,不妨花一分鐘的時間,向Miss S學習如何把健康元素融入生活中吧!

英文以外,健康以內
說到Miss S,想必她操一口流利英語的畫面便會在大家的腦海中油然而生。然而身兼模特兒的Sarika,苗條健康的形象同樣鮮明出眾。問及她從何時起變得注重健康,她這樣回答:「其實最初都不過緣於『貪靚』。因為當模特兒要保持良好身形,所以我很久以前就會減肥了。以往每逢拍攝前,我都會選擇少吃一餐,當作是減肥。但隨着年紀漸長,就開始發現這個方法不靠譜,必須從健康飲食方面着手。」

決心改變生活習慣的Sarika,開始不斷看別人的網上分享,又翻閱各類型的健康書籍,好好裝備自己。她亦經常到健身室做運動,更笑謂「越做越上癮」。在她看來,所謂健康的體魄,不是以身形的纖瘦程度來衡量,而是身體能輕鬆自如地應付日常生活的每項工作。她不時於社交媒體發放做運動的照片,久而久之,便引來一眾朋友、追蹤者、粉絲追問她如何瘦身。有一次,她與棋人香港的同事開會談及《Miss S教室》的內容,突然靈光一閃,想到可以借助這個平台,分享自己的心路歷程。「我希望可以幫助不同的人,傳遞健康的資訊,以及分享一些做運動的方法和知識。能夠幫助別人,同時亦令我感到非常滿足。」為了拍攝新系列的短片,她特意到健身室親身示範各式各樣的動作,又準備食材教人製作健康美味的食品,可見她的用心和認真。作出多番新嘗試,全因她希望憑藉微小的力量去幫助別人。

屬於自己的健康節奏
如今只要在Google搜尋器輸入「減肥」二字,便會出現數百萬個心得與秘笈,看得人眼花撩亂。瘦身的方法有如星羅棋布,究竟要從何入手?這或許沒有一個確實的答案,但Sarika仍樂於分享個人心得:「每個人的減肥方法都不盡相同。我也試過用很多不同的方法來減肥,例如吃減肥藥、不吃東西等極端的方法。現在我的知識比以前豐富了,可以跟大家分享一下。」她在《Miss S教室》裏大談不同的入門方法,好讓我們根據自己的程度,循序漸進地培養做運動的習慣。即使你抽不到空餘時間去健身室,也不用擔心——Sarika分享了一些辦公室小運動,讓我們在不同情況下都可以強身健體。而「入得廚房,出得廳堂」的她,更研究了一些簡單的食譜,教人一嚐健康的滋味。不論生活有多忙碌,時間有多緊迫,我們總會覓得適合自己的方法。

Keto,是一種態度
若有看過Sarika在社交媒體上載的生活照片,不難發現她正在實行「生酮飲食法」(Ketogenic Diet)。生酮飲食是一種透過控制碳水化合物的攝取量,選擇高脂肪、極低碳水化合物及適量蛋白質食物的飲食模式。旁人也許覺得這只是減肥方法,但我卻認為這是一種生活態度的體現。瘦身講求持之以恆,而Sarika亦藉此磨練出更好的自己,一顰一笑、舉手投足間都散發健康的魅力。新系列的《Miss S教室》,正正完好無缺地呈現了最真實又充滿正能量的Sarika。

Excessive workload. Limited time. Exhausting life. Day after day, year after year, we have been trapped in the doldrums of work, and started to neglect our health. Yet, Sarika uses concrete actions to tell us the importance of being healthy. Since the first video of “Miss S Classroom”, Sarika’s image as an English teacher has been deeply rooted in people’s minds. Recently, she has posted two new series of videos—cooking lesson and sports lesson. For those who are living a hectic life, just spend one minute and learn to integrate health into our daily lives from Miss S!

Something More Than English, Nothing Less Than Wellness
Speaking of Miss S, the first thing that pops into your mind would probably be the way she speaks English fluently. As a model at the same time, the slim, healthy image of Sarika is also very distinctive and iconic. When asking about her journey to healthy, Sarika responded, “It was all because of my ‘beauty consciousness’. Being a model, I always have to maintain a skinny body shape, and that is why I have started to keep fit a long time ago. In the past, I would skip a meal before shooting to slim down. But as I grow older, I find out that this is not a good way to keep fit and realize I have to focus more on healthy eating.”

Having decided to live a healthy lifestyle, Sarika started to equip herself with different health tips by reading people’s sharing online constantly and looking for health-related books. She always goes to the fitness room for training and even thinks “the more she workout, the more addictive it is”. To her, a healthy body is not defined by how skinny one is, but whether or not one’s body can deal with daily tasks freely and easily. She keeps posting her workout photos on social media from time to time, which gradually attracts many of her friends, followers and fans to ask her questions on how to keep fit. One day, when she was having meeting with Chessman HK’s colleagues on the contents of “Miss S Classroom”, she suddenly came up with a great idea—to incorporate her health tips in the videos. “I hope I can help others by sharing health-related information as well as the ways and knowledge of doing exercise. It also gives me satisfaction by helping others.” In order to take the new series of videos, Sarika went to the fitness room to demonstrate the exercise techniques and prepared various ingredients to teach people how to make healthy dishes. She made all these new attempts just for one reason: helping others the best she can.

Grasp The Rhythm Of Health
Nowadays, if we input the phrase “slim down” in Google’s search engine, millions of results on how to slim down would appear in just a few seconds. There is an abundance of ways to get in shape, so which one is the best to start with? Maybe no one is able to find the exact answer, but Sarika is still very pleased to share her thoughts. “Everyone have their own ways of slimming down. I had also tried many ways before, such as taking slimming pills and fasting for a while. But now I gain more knowledge and experiences and I think it would be nice to share with all of you.” In the new series of “Miss S Classroom”, she talks about many workout tips for beginners, helping us to nurture the habit of doing exercise at our own pace. Even if you really cannot make time for the gym, don’t worry—Sarika also shares some office exercise so you can keep your body moving at your desk. As a dab hand at cooking, she has made some quick, easy recipes to allow us to get a real taste of healthy eating. No matter how busy we are, and how scarce time is, we will eventually find our ways to stay healthy.

Keto Is An Attitude
If you have read the Sarika’s photos on social media, you will know that she is now on the ketogenic diet. Ketogenic diet is a specialized diet that involves highly restricted intake of carbohydrates, adequate proteins and a high proportion of fat consumption. While others might think this is only a way of keeping fit, I personally consider this as an embodiment of her attitude to life. After all, the most important factor of keeping fit is sustained effort. Sarika uses keeping fit as a mean to build a better self, and now she has become a sporty and charming girl. The two new series of “Miss S Classroom” perfectly demonstrate the most authentic Sarika who is always full of positive energy.
